Introduction

Dr. Nguyen Thu Hang is a forecaster and researcher at the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration (VNMHA). Her experience covered tropical-cyclone forecasting, data analysis and numerical simulation. 

Visiting details

Dr Nguyen was hosted by the AP-TCRC for an academic visit from October 2025 to January 2026. During her stay she worked on the application of artificial-intelligence techniques to tropical-cyclone intensity and rainfall prediction, sharing operational experience and research approaches with AP-TCRC staff and fostering bilateral exchange on AI-based meteorological methods.
